Happy, Happy Spring! After fourteen years of living in Tennessee, southern blood must finally be running through my veins because I couldn’t say goodbye to the cold quick enough. Peace out, Winter 2015.

This year I’d like to invite all Farnival readers and their four-legged freaks to join our morning walking posse. If you live near Springfield or happen to be in the area, we are currently starting at 7:30 AM at Garner Street Park on the Springfield Greenway, including weekends. When the summer heat gets here, our start time gets earlier. It’s a great way to socialize and exercise your dogs all at the same time.

Also, if you’ve adopted your dog from ICHBA, I give free leash-training lessons by appointment or during our morning migrations. Just write to me here: thefarnival@gmail.com.
