Perry County 8 Update

Great news! A few hours after asking ICHBA to help Lucy and her litter, Donna found two different places that would take all eight Perry County puppies. We decided to go with Danita F., a miracle-worker that fosters, vets, and finds homes exclusively for puppies.

This weekend Mason and I will meet Pamela and Wayne Thing on the west side of Nashville, pick up the Perry County 8, and transport them to their new foster home at the Tennessee-Kentucky state line.

As far as Lucy, the mother dog, ICHBA has offered the Thing family reimbursement for getting her fixed, but as of yet, we haven’t found anyone that has room to foster an adult dog.
