Rosie Update 3
Rosie’s adoption fell through last weekend. The potential adopters asked ICHBA to keep her on hold for a couple more weeks without meeting her first, and we felt uncomfortable about it. We want her to get the best home around, and the fact of the matter is that the odds of success are WAY better during the epitome of her puppy cuteness. It also helps that her house training is going swimmingly well. She’s gone from peeing on our hardwood floors six times a day to one accident in the past thirty-six hours – if we don’t count the few times she’s left a puddle on the deck
A couple days after we reposted her picture on Petfinders.com, Donna got a call from a family living in Murfreesboro, TN that “rescue fish.” They are meeting her this weekend when I’ll visit their home for a meet and greet. If it all goes well, then she’ll stay with the family, who will have a few days to decide if she’s the right fit. I think Meadow will miss her the most, but I’ll be a close second.
